Project 7 - First Person Shooter

Gunbritt was my 7th project at The Game Assembly and the 3rd project made with the wizard loaf crew. The project was developed in our very own in house engine C++ and DirectX11 engine, Yellowsnow, over the course of 10 weeks on 50% work time.

 

MY CONTRIBUTIONS

Network

  • Built a system where a user can place a postit-note in the gameworld that other players can read.

  • Implemented a "database" used to store and retrieve individual player data.

    UI

  • Implemented early versions of the main and in game menu.

  • Implemented the players in game HUD.

  • Implemented a user interface for placing and reading postit-notes.

    Audio

  • Gathered, post-processed, implemented and tweaked various game related audio in Wwise.
